How the tech works

Behind the scenes.

How a shot gets made on the LVRP stage, in three steps.

A sunset world on the LED wall, seen through the windows of an SUV
01 · The world is on the wallThe background, a sunset, a desert or deep space, plays on the LED wall in real time.
The red LED sky reflected on the paint and glass of a matte black SUV
02 · The wall lights the sceneThe wall is also the light. The red on the paint and the sunset on the glass are real reflections.
Final frame from inside the SUV with the Pacific sunset outside the windows
03 · Final pixelThe camera records the finished shot. Nothing to key out, nothing to composite later.
